Parlay: Sam Leavitt 30+ Rushing Yards + 175+ Passing Yards (-104) FD
I don't know who will win this game. I slightly lean toward TCU, but I don't have a
strong enough conviction to back the Horned Frogs.
What I do think is that Sam Leavitt will have to play a significant role in today's game, both through the air and on the ground, if they want
to keep pace with the high-octane TCU offense.
With Arizona State opting to focus on the run game with Raleek Brown and Leavitt, Leavitt's pass numbers are much lower than last season.
TCU's run defense is the strongest part of their defense. They are ninth in run D success rate (cfb-graphs.com) and have a 90.8 run D grade per PFF.com. Their pass D success is 99th, and their PFF coverage grade is 77.5.
Leavitt will likely have to pass more this week than he has all season. The 175-yard number is totally obtainable.
Even with the strong run defense, Leavitt will get his on the ground, and the pass rush is something I'm not overly concerned about.
