Kentucky vs Vanderbilt Prediction: Best Bet and Passing Prop for SEC Matchup

Quarterback for Kentucky in white uniform preparing to throw during a road game, standing in the pocket and looking downfield with crowd blurred in the background.

Cutter Boley hasn’t always been the easiest quarterback to trust this season, but this matchup feels made for a big performance. Vanderbilt’s secondary has been their weakness all year. They just gave up 353 passing yards to Stanford’s Ashton Daniels, a quarterback leading an offense ranked near the bottom nationally. That’s telling.

The Commodores are allowing more than 265 passing yards per game and sit 89th in defensive success rate against the pass, plus 73rd in EPA per pass. They simply haven’t shown the ability to limit explosive plays through the air.

The forecast looks clean outside of a small chance of light rain, and with Kentucky sitting as a 9-point underdog, game script should force Boley into late-game throwing situations. Kentucky will want to establish the run early, but the opportunities to stretch the field will be there all night.

If you’re into hit rate tracking, Boley has cleared this number in five of eight games. That trend plus the matchup makes Over 200.5 a strong play at -115 on BetMGM/Fanatics. The Pick: Cutter Boley Over 200.5 Passing Yards (-115)
